Local MLA Ayya has an opponent in the form of Karuppusamy, the son of a corrupt MLA who was killed by Ayya. Karuppusamy gains evidence for his father's murder and sends Ayya to jail.

Rishi, a thief, happens to own a floppy disk incriminating a minister of murder. Things turn chaotic when his lookalike Velu is targeted by the minister for the footage.
